Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Socialic, a software-as-a-service social media scheduling and content management platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using Socialic, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Company Information

Socialic is owned and operated by Skalafy (Private) Limited ("Skalafy", "we", "us", or "our"), a private limited company incorporated in Sri Lanka.

Payments, subscriptions, and billing for Socialic are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for handling payment processing, invoicing, taxes, and refunds where applicable.

Description of the Service

Socialic allows users to plan, create, schedule, publish, and analyze content across supported social media platforms from a single dashboard. Features may include content calendars, automated publishing, media management, analytics, team collaboration, and AI-assisted content tools.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

Subscriptions

Socialic is offered on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).

Free Trials

Some plans may include a free trial. No payment will be charged during the free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.

Payments via Paddle

All payments are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, taxes, invoicing, chargebacks, and refunds in accordance with its own terms and policies.

Refunds and Cancellations

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your account or via Paddle. Upon cancellation, access to the Service will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are generally not provided for partially used subscription periods. Refund requests due to billing errors or exceptional circumstances must be submitted within 14 days of the charge and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be processed by Paddle.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Violate the terms or policies of any connected social media platform
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or misleading
  • Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or create using the Service ("User Content"). By using Socialic, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws and third-party platform policies.

Third-Party Services

Socialic integrates with third-party platforms (such as social networks). We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, trademarks, logos, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to Skalafy (Private) Limited. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. Skalafy (Private) Limited acts as the data controller for personal data processed through Socialic.

Service Availability and Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skalafy (Private) Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skalafy (Private) Limited from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles.
