Fixing a Disconnected Channel
Connecting Social Channels
A connected channel can occasionally need re-authentication — for example if a platform access token expires or a permission is revoked. When this happens, Socialic will not be able to publish to that channel until you reconnect it.
You can spot it in two places: an error icon appears next to the affected platform in the Sync sidebar, and the affected channel’s card on its sync page shows a red outline with a “Needs re-auth” label.
To fix it, go to Sync and select the affected platform. The Connect button turns red and reads “Reconnect”.
Click it and go through the same steps as the original connection: confirm in the dialog (it will show an extra notice explaining that re-authentication is required for this channel), then you are redirected to the platform to log in and grant access again.
Once you complete the platform’s login and grant access, the channel is refreshed and the “Needs re-auth” warning clears.
